The brand was founded in 1966 by a married couple, Vittorio and Laura Moltedo in Vincenza (Italy). Initially, two artisan craftsmen created a Cabat bag from strips of leather - in the seventies the fame of these bags became ubiquitous. They were worn by Bianca Jagger, Lisa Minelli, Cher, Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor and other celebrities. In 2001, BOTTEGA VENETA as part of the Gucci Group again ascended the fashionable Olipm, having experienced a transformation from an accessory brand into global. Accessory collections have been complemented by male and female collections of clothes and shoes. Today, the creative director of the brand is Daniel Lee. It’s impossible not to admit that exactly with his arrival the brand again ascended to the pedestal of recognized luxury. Brand collections all follow the principle: concise design, the latest technology, simplicity of functionality and luxury of materials. It is worth noting that the historical weaving intrecciato has survived to this day, changed a little.
