Stella Mccartney was lucky to be born in the family of a famous ‘beatle’. However the reputation in the world of fashion she made on her own. Nowadays her brand presents evening dresses, sportswear, bags, accessories, cosmetics and fragrances.
Generally, she went in for design of clothing at the age of 13. Initially she used to work with Christian Lacroix and Edward Sexton. Her own debut collection – her graduation project – was presented gratis by her friends: the supermodels Naomi Campbell and Yasmin Le Bon and Kate Moss. Since then her career has been rapidly developing: first she was appointed the creative director of ‘CHLOE’, then signed a macrocontract with ‘GUCCI’ and established the eponymous fashion house, afterwards she began collaboration with with ‘H&M’ and ‘ADIDAS’. She designed sports suits for the british olympic team in 2012. Moreover, despite such a busy schedule, Stella found time to develop a new line of bijouterie inspired by disney's ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and successfully manage the 15 large boutiques in the top fashion capitals of the world: New York, London, Paris, Milan etc. A lifelong vegetarian, Stella Mccartney totally rejects leather and fur, though use wool and silk. Her cosmetics line ‘care’ is positioned as 100% organic. In the course of her career in fashion Stella Mccartney has worked on designing of wedding dresses, casual and sports wear, bags, underwear and a wide rage of accessories: bijouterie, key-chains, sunglasses etc.
