BORDELLE, women's underwear brand, was founded in 2007 by designers Alexandra
Popa and Javier Suárez. It's unique because the designers put aside the classical
attributes of the lingerie such as lace and romantic decorations and chose audacity and
avant-garde instead — they use leather and satin ribbons, metal rings, a net, slits in the
most unexpected parts, a complex system of closings and bracings.
However, the brand
manages to create collections without a sign of vulgarity — immodest yet rich and
elegant. By the way, it was BORDELLE that created the underwear with an adjustable
size. The first collection was immediately sold out. It's BORDELLE products can be seen
on Britney Spears in her Circus Tour video as well as on Christina Aguilera in Burlesque.
The brand's assortment includes bodies, bras, panties, garter belts, body slimmers,
gowns, nightshirts as well as sexual accessories — satin chokers, portepees and nipple
pasties. For each collection, they use Swiss embroidery, clasps made of 24k gold, and
elastic a la bondage satin ribbons as the signature logo. Each piece is strictly handmade.
The modern design and a high quality make this lingerie brand exceptional — they make
niche products focused on the most demanding customer.
