The brand was founded by Giuseppe Borsalino in 1857 who was studying the secrets of the craftsmanship in Italy and France. In 1871 the company already had more than 180 empoyees and was producing 300 hats a day. In 50 years thanks to the new head of the company, Giuseppe's son Terezino Borsalino, the amount of the production grew to a million hats a year. BORSALINO hats have reached all the countries and the brand became international. BORSALINO is associated with the hollywood stars who made the hats iconic - Allen Delon and Jean Paul Belmondo who played in movie 'BORSALINO', Bruce Willis, Adrien Brody, Madonna, Ernest Hemingway, Humphrey Bogart.
