The designer Dirk Bikkembergs is one of the legendary 'Antwerp six', the graduate of the royal academy of fine arts in antwerp. In the mid-eighties dirk presented his first collection of men's shoes and after a time released a menswear collection under the brand 'DIRK BIKKEMBERGS MAN'. In 1996 dirk launched 'BIKKEMBERGS ' menswear (white label) and in 1998 opened a boutique in milan, in 2000 there appeared 'BIKKEMBERGS ' womenswear collection (white label) and the footwear line 'BIKKEMBERGS SHOES', these were the collections designed for a wide range of customers. The focus of attention in another line, ‘BIKKEMBERGS JEANS AND SREETWEAR' (red label), was the famous jeans 'G8', to which dirk tried to give 'soul, body and history’. Similar to the white label this collection was named 'BIKKEMBERGS ', but it featured a red tag with white lettering. The idea of ​​jeans production always attracted dirk: he considered that every man can look great even in a simple neat t-shirt and jeans. In 2003 dirk decided to launch his 'BIKKEMBERGS SPORT LABEL' and within its framework he designed the uniforms for the players of fc 'Internazionale milano 1908'. Also the brand successfully puts out such lines as 'BIKKEMBERGS UNDERWEAR', which comprises the handmade couture articles, and 'BIKKEMBERGS EYEWEAR', the series of glasses designs.
